West Air Sheet Metal uses the latest technology in AutoCAD 2011 extensions by using DuctDesigner 3D from Quickpen.
DuctDesigner provides 2D and 3D modelling software for the sheet metal industry.
We are able to increase productivity by finding interferences early in the project cycle.
Costs are reduced by finding mistakes early in the process.
We can plot our duct runs and send them to the field before any fabrication has begun which provides a double check of the system being installed.

West Air Sheet Metal uses a computer controlled fabrication process by using Quickpen's Vulcan Sheet Metal cutting software to reduce waste thereby saving dollars.
Fitting data is entered into the computer where a best fit pattern is determined before sending this information to the plasma cutter.

West Air Sheet Metal is a proponent of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
This is another tool enabling us to be more efficient by streamlining project schedules and costs.
As a result, there is a higher quality finished product and less waste due to being LEED conscious.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a third-party certification program for rating green buildings.
