For 40 years West Air has cared. The next generation is now growing West Air in sustainability and comfort to serve you like never before. We own a 17,000 sq ft facility in NE Calgary to manufacture products from 10,000lb raw coils. We have a large inner city yard with assembly and staging capacity to prepare and execute your project and recycle waste from your project. 

West Air procure or build products as needed to help developers, contractors, insurers, consultants, property owners, suppliers and subcontractors with their needs or concerns, cost effectively. We utilize a combination of our own forces alongside trusted suppliers and subtrade experts to continue the tradition upon which the company was founded.  

Our Brand Offerings are as follows: 

West Air care about quality. We ensure that even if ductwork is concealed by the ceiling, we ensure duct is installed level. In some cases, we seal the longitudinal joint seam to ensure when the duct is pressurized there are no leaks. Here we are using  TDC joints and beaded duct that we manufacture in our shop with proper G90 galvanizing and heavy gauges to meet and often exceed CSA, ULC, SMACNA, ASHRAE and all authorities having jurisdiction.  

West Air care about fire protection. We ensure that kitchen exhaust ductwork is properly continuously welded and inspected with a rigorous quality control process to not leak grease into the very expensive fire protection zero clearance insulation that we can install in our shop before bringing the ductline to site. Any leaks into the insulation can eliminate the effectiveness of the insulation and create a significant fire hazard. We do not have to rely on a third party shop to ensure cost, quality and schedule are paramount for our clients. We wouldn't want our clients in a queue with other clients from other contractors as we would not have oversight of the production process. Access panels are manufactured and sealed in our shop. Our work is compliant to NFPA.  

West Air care about coordination. We take a leadership position in coordination because ductwork is the largest scope in the ceiling space. We plan, layout and install ductwork in the most efficient way possible to minimize offsets and transitions to maximize air pressure, velocity and reduce strain and energy consumption on HVAC equipment. We nurture our relationships with our suppliers and supply chain to ensure what we manufacture and install works as a system rather than a collection of individual autonomous components. We can provide seismic supports and reinforcing for any type of project or condition. 

West Air care about sound. We ensure that acoustics matter to occupants. We have an in-house insulation, steel coil and welding line to build attenuators, acoustic enclosures and panels to prevent noise transfer from equipment, air velocity or from adjacent rooms. West Air cares deeply about acoustics as excessive air flow and consistent noise can be uncomfortable to occupants.
